Overview
The Clinical Nurse-Perinatal Simulation Program Educator will design, implement, facilitate, and evaluate educational programs for the Riley Maternity Perinatal Simulation Program. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to design scenarios, identify learning objectives, develop curriculum, and schedule programs specific to the ability and level of the learner. Lead, coordinate, and support educational programs for perinatal faculty, fellows, residents, NPs, PAs, RNs, RTs, hospital personnel, and community providers across the state. Debrief learners performance and offer correction of cognitive, technical, and behavioral skills witnessed throughout the scenario. Provide feedback to the simulation team from each program for effectiveness and opportunities for enhancement of realism. Assist with research projects including recruitment, consent, conducting clinical research, and gathering data. Present research findings at local and national conferences. Maintain high-fidelity manikins, video equipment, and all expendable simulation resources.
