Overview
This position's requirements will include surgery scheduling: including pre-op and post op requirements when applicable, gatekeeper for all patient interaction/communication: scheduling clinic appointments, sending new patient packets, insurance approvals and partnering with our prior authorization team, coordinating records and imaging, referral management/scheduling, completion of FMLA, STD, and medical records documents. Billing reconciliation, working appointment reminder reports, along with managing and sending new patient letters and progress notes. Backup coverage required to support other administrative team members/surgeon when applicable. This position has a hybrid option.
Skills Needed: clinical knowledge and/or MA background recommended.
