Overview
The Director of Information Services for the Adult Academic Health Center (AAHC) manages the operational health and stability of assigned IS teams and resources. The IS Director is the liaison between IIS and the business to ensure that IS projects and investment outcomes conform to business and clinical needs. Builds relationships with business and clinical team members by working with peers to ensure human and financial resources are effectively deployed, establishing metrics and tracking improvement trends, and coaching, motivating, and requiring personal accountability and leadership within their organizations. Maintains and communicates a vision for their area of responsibility, pushes for the change necessary to achieve this vision, and demonstrates consistency in meeting their commitments.
