Job Description

Overview

Provides functional leadership of pharmacy technicians under the direction of pharmacy management as it relates to daily staff and pharmacy operations, as well as, performs all applicable duties of a Pharmacy Technician III. This position may also be responsible for coordinating scheduling, training and assisting the supervisor/manager in the application of corporate, hospital, and pharmacy policies.

 High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Requires Indiana Pharmacy Technician License.
• Requires Pharmacy Technician National Certification.
• Requires the absence of criminal history related to the ability to work with drugs.
• Requires strong mathematical calculation skills.
• Requires full proficiency as a pharmacy technician in assigned areas and ability to work within established procedures under limited supervision.
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires strong customer service skills.
• Requires intermediate proficiency typing and using Microsoft Office applications.
