Job Description

Apply for a Project Manager with the IIS PMO department within the Strategic Projects team! The working hours will be M-F approx 8a-5p and will be a hybrid role with onsite and remote opportunities throughout the week! 

This role leads strategic system projects ranging from moderately to highly complex which typically encompass multiple applications and business areas to successful and timely completion of the project(s) scope within budget. Provides administrative decision making, leadership and planning for IU Health's business and clinical projects. Provides day-to-day coordination, communications, issue/resolution, and financial management related to the specific projects. Oversees resources assigned to the project and must be familiar with the project goals, scope, and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Facilitates current and future state business processes, requirements, elicitation, solutions and development and test management.  The Information Services Project Manager may directly lead entire project(s) or may lead significant aspects of major strategic projects under the guidance of the IIS Senior Project/Program Manager. Experience working on complex design and construction and/or within large healthcare organizations is desirable.

 

 Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
• Requires an understanding of the Information Management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization.
• Required experience with enterprise PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tools.
• Strong working skills with MS Office tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio etc. is preferred.
• Preferred experience with contractor and vendor management.
• Requires a demonstrated fundamental understanding of project accounting and financial management.
