Description

Envisions, designs, and develops relevant, flexible learning experiences for Team Members and Leaders at all levels within IU Health. Analyzes the learner, performance outcomes, and evaluation strategies to design learning experiences that promote and support learning inside and outside of the formal classroom. Designs and develops high impact multiple modality curriculums, programs, or learning solutions (e.g. classroom learning, eLearning, social learning, action learning, experiential learning, gamification, etc.,). Designs and delivers assessments or formal evaluations to determine learning effectiveness. Develops and manages project plans that support the needs of the business and are executable within time and budgetary constraint (e.g. from scoping, research/analysis, design and development to launch).

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or equivalent years of experience is required; Master's degree preferred. , Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) preferred.
  • Requires knowledge of instructional design methodology and adult learning theory.
  • Requires moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Requires demonstrated skills using standard authoring and graphic design tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, Audacity, FSPro, Docutools, etc.).
  • Requires 3-5 years of related Instructional Systems Design, Curriculum development experience.
