Position Summary

Do you have a proven skill to create initiatives that develop leaders and team members to help an organization meet the values and goals set to bring about great outcomes? Then consider this position in Organizational Development.

In this role you'll lean on your organizational development expertise, leverage your strategic skills, and execute project plans. More specifically, you will design and lead efforts that strengthen the performance of IU Health leaders, providers, and associates to consistently achieve desired patient outcomes and advance system priorities and strategies. You'll have the opportunity to shape cultural integration strategies, partner with system and local leadership to implement these strategies, and proactive make recommendations for how to support organizational effectiveness. In addition, you'll provides expertise in change management, engagement, succession planning and professional development. You'll serve as a consultant on the design and implementation of strategic initiatives. This role provides a lot of autonomy and you'll serve as an internal consultant to system leaders, business units, clinical leaders, and providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required in Education (Adult Learning preferred), Organizational/Leadership Development, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience is required.
  • ICF or other coaching certification from an accredited program is preferred.
  • OD Consultant Certification (ODCC), Professional Clinical Development Certification (ANCC ex.), Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Experiential Learning Certification, Gallup Certified Coach, Prosci ADKAR certification and/or other relevant certifications is preferred.
  • Requires demonstrated expertise in of learning and organizational development principles and methodologies (e.g. adult learning principles, instructional design, competency modeling, development planning, leadership assessments, mentoring, coaching, leadership development, team development, and change management).
  • Requires experience working in a large highly matrixed clinical/business organization.
  • Requires high proficiency with Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience with reporting and presentation tools.
