Position Summary

IU Health is seeking an experienced Credentialing Supervisor with at least 5 years of experience. The Credentialing Supervisor will be based at IU North located in Carmel, IN supervising 4 employees and will also be responsible for 1 employee at IU Health Tipton. Reliable transportation is needed for weekly travel to Tipton. You will monitor and manages adherence to all credentialing, re-credentialing, and delegated credentialing contract processes, policies, and procedures. You will also insure credentialing targets and objectives are consistently met, and administer the credentialing and network reporting processes to guarantee compliance with the appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies. A strong candidate will provide continuous leadership, development, and career opportunities for team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, 7+ years of directly related experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Master's degree preferred.

5-7 years of experience in managed care or related industry working with healthcare professionals and payers.

Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
