Front Office Manager

Under the supervision of the designated supervisor, this position exists to provide assistance to the Practice Administrator in planning, budgeting and overall operations including special projects, analysis and policies and procedures. The incumbent will plan, coordinate and manage ongoing analysis, development and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions. Provides leadership for the development and management and overall front office support to the practice plans and strategic goals of the assigned the organization.

Specifically, this position will serve to manage neurology's high cost drugs, reimbursement, review of medical policy and run point on co-pay and pharmacy assistance. The role will be responsible for coordinating between the clinical teams, financial team and payers to provide clarity for all parties about what is necessary for drug reimbursement.

- Knowledgeable of insurance requirements for prior authorization, related to drug therapies.

- Prefer leadership experience or ability to influence others .

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Requires knowledge in business applications.
  • Requires ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
  • Requires ability to facilitate and lead work groups.
  • Requires ability to apply the organization personnel policies and procedures.
