Indiana University Health has exciting nursing opportunities in our Indiana University Health North Hospital Progressive Care Units. 5B Medical is a diverse patient population staffed with nurses of all experience levels. We are accustomed to helping new grads start their nursing journey. We have an onboarding process that replicates a clinical setting for our new grad nurses. We care for patients ages 18 and up with a large range of diagnoses. 5C Surgical is a great opportunity to work with Orthopedic and Bariatric patients. Full-time, part-time, and supplemental positions with days, nights and rotating shifts available.

New Grad?

Our Nurse Residency Program offers a dynamic experience that will positively impact your ability to provide quality, compassionate care to patients as you transition from student nurse to professional nurse. With support from Nursing leadership, peer education, and mentoring throughout your first year orientation and beyond, you'll develop clinical skills, enhance your professional development & individual strengths as you uncover your passion as a direct care nurse.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
  • An Associate of Nursing (ASN) degree from an ACEN or CCNE nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
    • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) from a nursing program accredited through the ACEN or CCNE.
