Maintains appropriate inventory levels of anesthesia drugs and supplies for the operating room area. Sets up, troubleshoots and maintains pressure monitoring equipment.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Requires knowledge of anesthesia drugs and supplies for ordering and maintaining supply levels.
  • Requires knowledge of equipment setup and maintenance along with the ability to perform minor troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
